  20.     While they may have done some "real world" tests (which are
  21. notouriously inaccurate when they try to test actualy performance, you'll
  22. often see modems that perform horribly on your lines winning a "real
  23. world" test), but they also did a rather limited benchmark test with a
  24. line noise generator.  It's an ok test, although rather limited in what
  25. they tested (eg. they didn't even bother testing the modems on bad phone
  26. lines).
